J&J said to settle first DePuy hip suits for $600K

Johnson & Johnson has agreed to pay $600,000 to settle the first three of approximately 8,000 lawsuits over hip implants recalled by the company’s DePuy Orthopaedics unit in 2010, according to Bloomberg News.
